With multiple key updates to the iPhone 11, IPhone 12 is scheduled to launch this October. To begin with, this time around, there are allegedly four iPhone 12 versions, opposed to three for the iPhone 11. And Apple is likely to support across-the-board 5G coverage as well as deliver OLED displays on all the upcoming iPhone 12 Smartphone .
Yet Apple did the impossible and, ahead of the iPhone 12, released the A14 Bionic. The strong new processor would also be packed with the new iPad Air, and Apple insisted on the promised new performance boost from the silicon update. That could be enough to tell us just how much smoother the iPhone 12 is going to be relative to the iPhone 11.

There are plenty of speculated iPhone 12 updates, including 5G and a stronger A14 Bionic processor to different models for both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Better resolution for the main camera and an even more flexible night mode can also be expected. And, if you’re into virtual reality, the LiDAR scanner of the iPhone 12 Pro Max can push AR implementations to the next stage while providing improved camera performance as well.
Will it be enough for all these speculated discrepancies to get shoppers excited? It’s a strong possibility, particularly if, by adding 5 G, Apple can keep the price down for the 5.4-inch iPhone 12. And, as has been speculated, it would not hurt if Apple rolls out a sleeker version.
Charging and battery life
The iPhone 11 (11 hours and 16 minutes) and iPhone 11 Pro Max (11:54) both given enough power to land on our best phone battery life list during the battery tests.
Not much is known about the potential iPhone 12 battery size, but a source from the Korean website The Elec suggests that due to modified circuitry, the iPhone 12 may have bigger batteries. One EverythingApplePro study says that the iPhone 12 Pro could get a battery of 4,400 mAh, which will be a good improvement.
One big speculation is that in the iPhone 12, Apple won’t have an adapter at all, which will potentially cut prices while supporting the atmosphere as well. But this will be an annoyance for consumers as well, and many of them have already shared their dissatisfaction with the proposal.
The positive news is that, based on leaks, the iPhone 12 could allow 20W charging, which will be much better than the iPhone 11 lineup’s 18W charging.
Network 5G vs 4G LTE
Although wireless Sensor networks are still being implemented in the U.S, 5G coverage should be given for all four iPhone 12 models. The iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro have just 4 G LTE mobile phones. The implementation of 5G would allow the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro lines in areas with coverage to reach much higher download speeds.
This is not official, but we believe that iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max will only support sub-6 GHz 5 G networks, while iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be linked to sub-6 GHz and mmWave 5 G networks faster.
LiDAR Scanner and Cameras.
Thanks to their fantastic Night mode and Smart HDR next-generation, iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro proved to be among the best camera phones on the market. The iPhone 11 featured a normal wide and ultra-wide lens, while a telephoto zoom was introduced by the iPhone 11 Pro range.
The standard 5.4-inch iPhone 12 and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 are slated to deliver two lenses once again for the iPhone 12, and three cameras including a new LiDAR scanner are available for the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
For those who are more interested in video than photography, the iPhone 12 may also carry good news. The iPhone 12 would be capable of capturing 4 K video at up to an incredible 240fps (frames per second), according to EverythingApplePro. The models of today can do “just” 60fps, but it would be possible to capture very slow slow-motion video with 120 or 240fps and even play video with less motion blur.
According to Max Weinbach, in the Pro versions, the telephoto camera would have a broader 3x optical zoom field of vision, relative to today’s 2x. There were also reports that Apple would be able to upgrade the number of pixels from 12 to 64 million after several years.
performance and specifications
Apple’s latest A14 Bionic processor will definitely be launched on the iPhone 12, which promises MacBook Pro-like performance based on leaked benchmarks. Compared to 7 nm for the A13 Bionic, this will officially be Apple’s first 5 nm processor. This could also result in greater effectiveness.
The TSMC-made A14 Bionic chip promises 15% faster performance while using 30 percent less power. And that’s before Apple performs optimizations of its own.
A UBS analyst report compiled by MacRumors says the iPhone 12 will have 4 GB of RAM, while 6 GB will be eligible for the iPhone 12 Pro lineup.
It is said that the iPhone 12 is significantly lighter than the iPhone 11. The largest iPhone 12 variant will be 7.4 mm wide, says a supply chain study picked up by 9to5Mac. That’s 10% thinner than the Pro Max iPhone 11.
With straight margins, but also narrower bezels across the screen, the iPhone 12 will take influence from the 2018/2020 iPad Pro style. (Some reports, though, say that only the two Pro versions would apply this design language, which may make the gap between different price tiers clearer.)
iPhone 12 5.4-inch, which will be a new size for Apple, should be the entry-level standard. One leak refers to the iPhone 12 mini being named this smartphone. A 6.1-inch iPhone 12, identical to the standard iPhone 11, will also exist.
The iPhone 12 Pro is now supposed to come in 2 sizes when you move up to the Pro phones: 6.1 inches for the iPhone 12 Main Main and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. 5.8 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, are the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
As standard, the iPhone 12 is supposed to be fitted with an A14 Bionic chip developed by TSMC.
TSMC ‘s latest 5 nm technology, which in itself promises 15 percent speed gains, or a 30 percent reduction in power consumption (or a combination of the two), is rumored to be made. You should incorporate optimisations and enhancements from Apple on top of that. At upwards of 50 percent higher results, we think.
That’s pretty much the same as the previous version, relative to its new counterpart, with only a slight price increase for the 12 Total.
The pricing for iPhone 12 will not be reported until the beginning Of October, but we’ve seen one price leak for iPhone 12 estimating the prices for all four versions.
