How to play the popular google doodle game

Many of us around the world are trapped at home right now, looking for a way to fill up the time. Google will do its part for the next two weeks to help relieve your boredom by daily highlighting a famous game from a past Doodle.

Google has over the years published an amazing number of games and minigames on its homepage, all carefully documented and archived on the Google Doodle Blog. Google is releasing a new series of ten Doodles starting April 27 and running for two weeks, each a callback to one of the company’s most famous games.

As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people and families everywhere are spending more time at home. In light of this, we’re launching a throwback Doodle series looking back at some of our popular interactive Google Doodle games!

The famous Google Doodle game, “Coding for Carrots,” featured on the first day dates back to 2017, and originally celebrated the 50th anniversary of Logo, the first ever programming language developed for use by children. In the game, you’ll build simple command combinations that tell your rabbit how to collect the carrots at each point. If you or your kids are especially interested in today’s Doodle throwback, consider introducing them to Scratch, a kid-oriented programming language that the game is loosely based upon.

As to why Google has stunned the games over the two-week period, you can recall that some of the best and most famous Doodles in the last couple of years have had multiplayer support actually. For example, in celebration of the Mexican bingo-like game Lotería, the Google Doodle has allowed you to compete with only your friends or online with random players. By pacing them out, Google will ensure that a number of players are present at the concentrated game of each day.
