Samsung’s A-series, S-series, Note line, and foldable Android smartphones are among the company’s offerings. The emphasis used to be on high-end flagships, but Samsung has recently released mid-range phones that make one wonder if the flagships are worth hundreds of dollars more.
Samsung continues to compete with Huawei and Apple for the title of best-selling smartphone, and in order to boost sales, the company is launching more capable mid-range phones as well as creative folding smartphones.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2, Samsung’s new foldable, is a beautiful piece of engineering that I used as my everyday driver for a few months. The Galaxy S21 series was recently published, as well as an announcement of A-series tablets, which some might find more appealing than anything else available.
Top 5 Best Samsung phone in 2021
The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G was launched as Samsung’s first flagship phone in 2021. Samsung cut the price of the S21 Ultra 5G’s entry-level variant by $200, a step that is likely to improve sales.
The Galaxy S21 phones are the first to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor and 5G support for Sub6, mid-band, and mmWave, meaning that customers will get coverage around the 5G range with each of Samsung’s three S21 devices. The monitor, sensors, applications, and other aspects of the device have all improved. In addition, the S21 Ultra 5G is compatible with the S Pen and nearly all of the Note series’ features.
The S21 Ultra 5G is the model to get if you want help for the S Pen. The S21 5G, on the other hand, can serve your needs if you prefer a smaller phone that is also extremely capable.
The monitor size and resolution, sensor specs, RAM/storage options, S Pen features, and battery life are the only variations between the high-end S21 Ultra 5G and the S21 5G. Since the monitor and battery are determined by the device’s size, you get a ton of phone for $400 less.
Some people dislike curved glass screens as well, but the S21 5G has a flat monitor that looks fantastic. It’s a little phone with a variety of attractive color choices.
03. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G
Last year, I fell in love with the Galaxy Fold, but I didn’t include it in my top 10 smartphones list because it seemed like an expensive buy. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, on the other hand, is the third version of the company’s folding phone and has been greatly improved, so it deserves to be not only on this list, but also at the top.
I tried out a review unit for a couple of weeks before ordering my own after only a couple of days with it. I waited patiently and ordered a black phone with a shiny red hinge, which is completely gorgeous. The Z Fold 2 costs $2,000, but if you use your computer as much as I do on a regular basis to get work done, the price is fair.
In both modes, the Z Fold 2 serves as a powerful smartphone and compact tablet, with an incredibly powerful and fast 5G connection. The 6.2-inch outside monitor is typical of a smartphone, but the huge 7.6-inch main display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and Samsung’s lovely AMOLED technology, is beautiful.
You get the fastest RAM and internal storage speeds possible today, as well as three rear cameras and two extra 10MP cameras. And when using the wide main screen, the 4500mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day.
04. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
Although the Galaxy S20 range, which debuted in early 2020, offers convincing options, they are premium phones with prices beginning at $1,000 and up. Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) 5G phones to provide customers with another choice. The S20 FE comes in five lovely colors to match your personal taste.
At $699.99, you would think Samsung made a lot of sacrifices in order to sell a strong 5G handset. However, there is a 6.5-inch Infinity-O display with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 cpu, a large capacity 4500mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage with a microSD card slot, IP68 dust/water resistance, three rear cameras (one with 3X optical and 30x super-resolution zoom), and a high resolution 32MP front camera.
Where are the concessions to be found? Exactly, there aren’t any, and still phones in the upper mid-range with less capable specs emerge around the $700 mark. The S20 FE is a direct rival to Google’s latest Pixel 5 and other smartphones.
05. Samsung Galaxy Note 20/Note 20 5G
The Note 20 devices carry everything we saw on the S20 set, plus few changes in the cameras. Of course, the S Pen is a staple of the Note sequence, and with the Note 20, we see more Air Actions that are really proving to be very useful and reliable this year.
Samsung’s two Note 20 series models feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, exclusive AMOLED 6.7- and 6.9-inch 120Hz refresh rate displays that dynamically customize for the content being displayed, 8GB and 12GB RAM, 128GB storage with a 512GB storage option for the Ultra (with a microSD card for even more storage), three rear cameras, IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5. The battery capacities are 4,300mAh and 4,500mAh, respectively.
